Restricted access to the Harvard Law School Library began on Sunday, November 30, 2008 and continues through January 15, 2009 for the fall reading and exam period.
During restricted access, only HLS students, faculty, staff, and officers are allowed regular HU I.D. access to the library. Members of the Harvard community can still check materials out from the library; they will simply need to inquire at the circulation desk for admittance. To ensure adequate seating during the reading and exam periods, Harvard Law School Library is only available as a study area for the Harvard Law School community.
The second floor of Langdell is open as a 24 hour study space for HLS students; the rest of the library closes at 2:00 a.m., and library services end at that time. Please head down to the 2nd floor at 1:45 so we can shut down and lock up.
During the three days that the library is open during the winter holiday break (Dec. 28-30, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) access will be available to the entire Harvard community.
