Library Closed Memorial Day Weekend; Summer Hours

36 USC § 116 – Memorial Day

(a) Designation.— The last Monday in May is Memorial Day.
(b) Proclamation.— The President is requested to issue each year a proclamation—
(1) calling on the people of the United States to observe Memorial Day by praying, according to their individual religious faith, for permanent peace;
(2) designating a period of time on Memorial Day during which the people may unite in prayer for a permanent peace;
(3) calling on the people of the United States to unite in prayer at that time; and
(4) calling on the media to join in observing Memorial Day and the period of prayer.

In honor of Memorial Day, the Harvard Law School Library will be closed Saturday May 25 through Monday May 27.

When we re-open on Tuesday May 28, we will begin our bar review schedule, which will run until August 2:

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: CLOSED

From August 2 through August 30, we will be open on our summer recess schedule, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Reference desk hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout the summer.

We will also be closed on Thursday July 4 for Independence Day.
