Thanks to the Internet, access to various public records that used to require a trip to the courthouse or other government agencies is only a click away.  But many are raising concerns about how easy it has become to harvest information such as social security numbers, financial data, and the like from such records.  This Wall Street Journal “Real Time” feature discusses the issue.
