Early birds at the library this summer may have wondered why library staff have been seen turning off lights in the morning. In an effort to reduce our energy consumption, the library is turning off the chandeliers in the Langdell reading room during the bright, sunny, days of summer. Desk lamps at the tables and carrels can provide additional task lighting as needed.
