You may not have decided whether you’ll vote for the HLS alum or the non-HLS alum (as we like to categorize the candidates here), but if you’re still a little foggy as to how to go about voting, either here in Massachusetts or in your home state, you can clear that up right now.
The Brennan Center for Justice has this helpful guide to Student Voting Rights with an easy to use clickable map. The guide explains each state’s laws and requirements with regard to residency, absentee voter requirements, registrations deadlines, and more. The site even answers questions such as “Will where I vote affect my financial aid?”
And while we’re talking elections, check the candidates’ facts at factcheck.org, a nonpartisan group that monitors “the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews, and news releases.”
