The Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service, the Suffolk Transnational Law Review and the LexisNexis Rule of Law Initiative cordially invite you to a premier screening of the film HOLLY on Thursday, March 26th at Suffolk University Law School.
Shot on location in Cambodia, HOLLY tells the story of a 12-year old Vietnamese girl sold into sexual slavery by her impoverished family.
The event begins at 5:00 pm in Suffolk University Law School’s First Floor Function Room and will include remarks by Somaly Mam, human rights activist and author of The Road of Lost Innocence. A panel discussion on the current status of efforts to combat human trafficking around the world, a brief overview of the Somaly Mam Foundation’s goals, LexisNexis Rule of Law Initiative and more information on how you can help combat human trafficking, as well as a cocktail reception and book signing will follow.
