Ever wonder where the bodies are buried?

Well, wonder no more. Here in Cambridge, we are fortunate to be able to visit the graves of many distinguished, notable individuals. Did you know that four U.S. Supreme Court Justices and six Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court justices are buried in the nearby Mount Auburn Cemetery? If you’d like to learn more, then sign up to take a tour of Mount Auburn Cemetery, this Sunday, September 27th, at 2 p.m. To register for this tour, just use this link.

Among the monuments to be visited are those of Joseph Story, Felix Frankfurther, Horace Gray, Benjamin Curtis, and Lemuel Shaw, just to name a few. The tour will also include brief discussions about decisions related to federalism, slavery, immigration, national security and other issues that have helped to shape our federal and state governments.

The tours will start at Story Chapel. General Admission is $10. If you’re a member of the Friends of Mount Auburn Cemetery, the price is only $5. Not a bad price at all to experience a piece of our very rich history, if you ask me.
