Library Journal has released its Movers and Shakers 2011 list and included on this list is HLS Library Director John Palfrey. John has been named a Change Agent for 2011 based on his work here at the HLS Library and in particular his work on the Harvard Library Innovation Lab. The article quotes HLSL’s Kim Dulin as saying “Palfrey is inspiring his staff to invent ways to bring all of the value of libraries—their holdings, their metadata, the scholarly communities of which they are the center—to the Internet.” The full article is available online on the Library Journal’s website.
