Welcome Back to the HLS Library!

The Harvard Law School Library has been open virtually since March 2020 … but we’ve sure missed seeing you in person. We are thrilled to announce that the HLS Library is virtually and physically open to all current Harvard students, faculty, and staff beginning Monday, August 16. Visit our Library Hours page for more information.

Following University rules, all visitors must wear a mask that covers their nose and month at all times while inside the Library and other campus buildings. Library staff will be enforcing the University’s rules. For the latest information about COVID-19 protocols and more, visit HLS’s 2021 Return to Campus Information page.

Remy, an orange tabby cat, sits atop the HLS Library's Circulation Desk in a cardboard box labeled "Remy is here." Next to Remy is a large Book Return box, and behind him are rows of bookshelves full of course reserve materials.

If you are unable to visit us in person, you can continue to connect with us virtually. All of us, including Remy, look forward to welcoming you back to Langdell Hall!
