This charming illustration is a view of the Treasure Room (now called the Caspersen Room) in Langdell Hall, on the fourth floor of the Harvard Law School Library. The image was used for Dean Erwin Griswold’s 1951 holiday card, and can be found in the Library’s Historical & Special Collections. Printed inside the card is the message: “May your Christmas / be truly MERRY / and may the New Year, / as it unfolds, / be a HAPPY one / Dean and Mrs. Erwin N. Griswold.”
