It’s been a whirlwind past few weeks with hundreds of students, staff, and faculty members returning to HLS after months of remote learning and teaching. The J.D. Admissions team met so many wonderful members of the Class of 2024 at Orientation and other welcome events, and we know they have big things ahead of them. If you’d like to learn a bit more about the 1L cohort, check out our Class Profile.

The start of the new school year also signals the start of a new admissions cycle. As the Class of 2024 launches their 1L journey, future members of the Class of 2025 have begun preparing their applications. The J.D. Admissions team is looking forward to meeting applicants virtually this year, but before we get too far into recruitment season, we wanted to look back at 2020–2021 by the numbers:

  • 9,993 applications
  • 928 interviews
  • 685 offers of admission
  • 156 virtual events for admitted students
  • 92 virtual events for prospective students
  • 10 admissions team members
  • 7 podcast episodes

. . . and 560 entering 1L students!

We have just kicked off our prospective student programming for the Class of 2025, and like last year, our outreach will be entirely online. We look forward to connecting with applicants through the various online events found on the virtual programming page of our website.
