Ten Harvard Law School artists recently displayed their masterpieces during the 2023 Harvard Staff Art Show, which held its virtual opening on Feb. 9, with more than 370 works from 222 artists across the university. The exhibit showcased the creative endeavors of employees in almost every Harvard School and unit.
This year, the annual event’s third iteration, the display was hybrid, with a virtual gallery as well as three artist presentations and six in-person exhibits across campus. The Harvard Law School Library hosted an in-person show from March 13 to 23 in Langdell Library.
Fiber artist Tracy Blanchard, a program coordinator in the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program, helped organize the in-person exhibit at the Harvard Law School Library, which included works from five Harvard Law staff artists, with Lisa Ananais and Theresa Flaherty. In addition to organizing 25 artists, Blanchard displayed two pieces of her own that can be viewed online. The group partnered with the Law School’s Human Resources team to align the opening reception with a staff celebration, Festivities@4.
